A. Not to you. The full amount that you choose to donate goes to Melonie Park Church and is considered a tax-deductible gift.
A. Yes — Online giving is actually less risky than handwritten checks. An online transaction cannot be lost, stolen, or destroyed. Your confidential information using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). When you give, the church does NOT see private information like your debit card or bank account number.
A. You will receive a confirmation email immediately after you complete your donation.
A. Each time a contribution is made online; your information is recorded by our bookkeeper to the church records. Your online giving will also be added to your year-end contribution statement.
A. Absolutely. Click on the "Choose a Fund" option and you will see a drop-down menu of active funds to choose from. If you would like to split between funds, simply click on "+ ADD DONATION" and you will see the option to choose another fund and an amount.
A. This information is needed to confirm the funds you are donating are associated to the correct profile. It is also the information that the church needs to make sure that your year-end contribution statement is mailed to you for tax purposes.
